A Club with a Difference

Tsunami has recently made the decision to suspend operations for the upcoming 2022 season. We’re hopeful we can be back and serve our community once again in 2023.
Tsunami Volleyball was first created out of a desire to offer families a more affordable club experience in the Winnipeg area. The Club program has evolved over the years and at present Tsunami has become a highly competitive club  committed to providing the best possible team and player development.
Tsunami will commit to a 4 year cycle beginning at 15U and ending at 18U for both boys and girls teams.  The 4 year cycle will encompass the same coach for the 4 year duration. This ensures development and expectations are consistent throughout the duration of the program and provides stability for the athletes involved. Our next 4 year cycle will begin when Tsunami commences operations again. We’re hopeful to serve families and players again for the 2023 club season. Though we do run a 4 year cycle, players may need to tryout every year and there are no guarantees to players on a year to year basis.

Tsunami provides a spiritual component that separates us from other clubs.

We feel it important to declare that Tsunami is a faith-based organization rooted in the Christian faith. We are people who love God and have a passion for volleyball. Our desire is to serve those who wish to join the club. Though our efforts will focus on volleyball, the faith we live by will find its way into our time together. Love, patience, kindness, humility, and grace should be trademarks of who we are. As we strive to bless both athletes and parents, it is important to place unconditional value on each. By doing so, we hope to create a positive club experience for everyone involved.
Three hopes drive us as we offer club volleyball to athletes and their families – to be a blessing, to offer a goodness that results in praise to God, and to develop athletes who are skilled in body, mind, and heart.
Thank you for wishing to be a part of the Tsunami volleyball experience. We look forward to many amazing experiences together.
